The FineGrid team is a creative and sensitive community composed of manufacturers, artisans, and designers. Each of our products is shaped not only by aesthetics but also by hand labor, knowledge, and responsibility.
 

Merve, FineGrid's founder and creative visionary

Merve İpek is an artist and designer who studied interior design at Parsons School of Design in New York and Istanbul Technical University. In her design approach, "materiality" (the nature and effect of the material) holds a significant place.

In her projects in New York, Merve focused on working with natural materials, consuming less, and conscious living. In this process, she rediscovered Turkey's rich weaving heritage and began to question how traditional hand-woven fabrics could be used in different ways in our living spaces.

This approach led her to establish the FineGrid brand in 2019 and to make the production process more sustainable, local, and ethical.

While adding color to spaces with her designs, she aims to create joyful and comfortable moments for people.

Ahmet, Craftsmanship from Buldan

Ahmet has been continuing his profession, inherited from his father, since his youth. Every morning at 9:00 AM, the looms in the workshop beneath their house begin to clatter. He manages his work with care and love.

Süleyman, an artisan who dedicated his entire life to weaving

He is passionate about his work and incredibly dedicated. He is meticulous, energetic, and never wastes a single thread! It's a great pleasure for us to work with him!

Emine, impresses us every day with her extraordinary sewing skills! 

Together, we work hard and enjoy bringing our designs to life. Thanks to her attention to detail, each piece gains a unique character.
